History
Lakeshore Latching, Inc. was established in the mid 1990's by Sara Behnke, the current President of the company. The company started with just one client located near Lake Michigan in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Sara performed a latching process, using a specialized pliers to crimp wires into an oil ring expander for use in the auto industry. Consequently, Lakeshore Latching was formed. Since then the company has expanded it's service offering to include a multitude of assembly and packaging fulfillment services. Not only does Lakeshore Latching provide Original Equipment Assembly services to Fortune 100 companies, the company fulfills the daily and seasonal assembly and packaging needs for numerous local manufacturers. Our Location We have a large packaging and assembly facility located at 900 S 16th Street in Manitowoc, WI with additional warehouse space as needed. An Alternative Solution Inconsistent demand for part assemblies forced local manufacturers to quickly hire and train temporary workers to meet time sensitive production schedules.
